Plenty of Cardiff houses have had a new boiler bolted onto a system that was never cleaned or balanced. The result is hot pipes, lukewarm radiators upstairs and bills that don't improve. Flushing the system, fitting a magnetic filter, balancing the radiators and setting a sensible flow temperature usually transforms how the house heats.
We also fit and move radiators, replace valves, run new gas pipework, install smart controls and take on full central heating installations in older properties, including the making good afterwards.
Controls are set up with you before we leave, including the first week's schedule on your phone if you want it, so a new thermostat doesn't become an expensive wall ornament.

Cold at the bottom is usually sludge; cold upstairs is usually air or balancing. A flush and a proper balance fixes most of it, and it's far cheaper than a new boiler.
On an older system, normally yes, and most manufacturers expect the system to be cleaned for the warranty. We'll tell you if a chemical clean will do instead.
