Every replacement starts with a proper look at the house: mains flow and pressure, gas supply and pipe sizing, flue route, radiator count and where the boiler is best sited. That's how you avoid the two classic problems, a combi that can't keep up with the showers, and an undersized gas supply that makes the boiler lock out later.
You then get a fixed written price that covers the boiler, the clean, the filter, the certification and the clear-up. If a cheaper option would do the same job for your house, you'll be told.

How much does a new boiler cost in Cardiff?
Most straightforward combi replacements land between roughly £1,900 and £3,200 fitted, depending on the boiler, the warranty and whether pipework or the flue needs changing. Use the calculator on this page for a guide, then we'll confirm a fixed price in writing.
How long does a boiler installation take?
A like-for-like combi swap is usually one day. Moving the boiler, converting from a conventional system to a combi, or fitting a cylinder normally takes two days.
What warranty do I get?
Up to 10 years on the boilers we fit, depending on the make and model you choose. The warranty is registered for you on the day and stays valid as long as the boiler is serviced annually.
Which boilers do you install?
Mainly Worcester Bosch, Ideal and Vaillant, because parts and back-up are good locally. If you have a preference we'll price it, and if a cheaper model genuinely suits your house we'll say so.
Do I need my system flushed with a new boiler?
On any older system, yes. Every quote includes cleaning the system and fitting a magnetic filter, because it protects the new boiler and keeps the warranty intact.
Can you convert my old back boiler or conventional system to a combi?
Yes, that's a big part of what we do in Cardiff. We check the mains flow and pressure first, because a combi is only the right answer if your water supply can feed it properly.
Do you clear up afterwards?
Yes, and it's the thing customers mention most in our reviews. Floors are covered, the old boiler and packaging go with us, and the area is left clean.
