A lot of Penarth housing is older and solidly built, which usually means an existing system with generous pipework and, quite often, a back boiler or an ageing conventional set-up with a cylinder in the airing cupboard. Converting those to a modern combi frees up space, but only when the mains flow will support it, which is the first thing we check on site.
Where there are three or more bathrooms, or the mains pressure is marginal, a system boiler and unvented cylinder is usually the better answer than a big combi. You'll get both options priced so the choice is yours.
